What wine pairs well with my Easter Dinner?

Not sure what wine to pair with your Holmen Locker Double Smoked Ham?

We suggest  Elmaro Vineyard’s Edelweiss or Elmaro Rosa…which we happen to have in stock!

Edelweiss: Semi-Sweet white wine with mild, fruity labrusca flavors. The Edelweiss grapes were harvested in three different vineyards in Vernon Country, Wisconsin.

Elmaro Rosa: Sweet Red Wine with notes of Concord grape, sassafras and plum.

How do I cook my Double Smoked Ham?

Double Smoked Ham is a holiday favorite. Here are easy cooking instructions: put the ham in a roaster; pour a can of 7-UP over the ham; cover the ham; then bake 10 minutes per pound of ham at 325-degrees. This ham is a fully cooked product, so all you need to do is heat it thoroughly. During the last 15 minutes of baking time, put honey, orange marmalade and brown sugar on top of the ham and let it melt in to the ham.

The Wine Bar will be Closed Friday, April 14th.  It will be open April 21st and 28th  from 4-7:30pm

Mark your calendars! Friday, May 12th join us for a free Wine Tasting from 6-7pm. We will be sampling Pali Wines from California.
